====== Animated Map Palettes ====== The palette animation id is determined by the first colour, the transparent colour, of the 5th palette when the map tileset initially loads. Located at $DFE4E1, there is a pointer table to an entry for each id. ===== Entry format ===== Each entry consists of the following fields: ^ Offset ^ Size ^ Purpose ^ Description ^ | 0 | 4 | Data | A pointer to compressed palette data | | 4 | 1 | Count | The number of palette frames, maximum is 8 | | 5 | 0 - 8| Delays | The number of frames each palette will last for | A single frame of palette data consists of a full set of 6 palettes, or 6 x 16 colours. A maximum of 8 frames of palette data is supported. Uncompressed, you should have 192 bytes of palette data for each frame in your animation.
